‪a few chapters into sunrise on the reaping and the conclusion I’m coming to is that while katniss keeps *a lot* to herself, 16 year-old haymitch was a chronic oversharer. he dropped in ONE chapter more of the entire district’s lore than she did in 3 books

#while they’re similar in some of their actions katniss tries to conceal so much what she feels that she ends up hiding it even from herself #while haymitch is much more open and honest to himself in this sense #which is also interesting when you compare it to tbosas’s narration in third-person #because (as many people must have already stated) snow lies so much he can’t even be trusted to tell his own story‬#idk I just find it interesting how even the way the story is told is a sign of how she shapes the characters #haymitch abernathy #sunrise on the reaping #sotr spoilers #thg sotr #katniss everdeen #the hunger games trilogy #the hunger games #catching fire #mockingjay #suzanne collins

#my art #jjk #jujutsu kaisen #fushiguro megumi #jjk fanart #megumi fushiguro #i LOVE trying to 1:1 art styles it's such a fun challenge #and it appeals to me bc i love deception and lying for sport and trying 2 mold all aspects of myself in2 something else #trying to draw like gege felt like trying 2 forge someone's signature and trying 2 draw like the anime felt like going against all instinct #theres NO midtones in the anime shading i was like. is this it. surely this cant b All the shadows i am allowed #cell shading without blended areas feels so wrong 2 me #and the shape of his hair.....he looks so silly......why does he look like that.....#i was fighting the urge to 'fix' it w every bone in my body #rly opened my eyes to just how many favours i do him in my art style #i will happily bear the burden of being megumi's hairbrush good god he needs it #it's not so egregious in gege's style bc it's all so blocky and angular everywhere + the b/w balances out w negative space #w trying 2 replicate gege's style i think my main challenge was finding a good brush dupe to mimic his crosshatching #my current render style is all over the place tbh im not even sure i'm super happy with my own which is kinda embarrassing #i think im in an in between phase that's neither smooth nor rough so i try to lean in2 the messiness to make it look intentional #instead of confused #but overall i think i did rly well in that i like these all ok and i had fun smile :)#maybe ill do th other first years

#legend of zelda #echoes of wisdom #loz eow #loz #zelda #tri #josh art tag #been meaning to do a full on stained glass drawing for like 2 years now lol #ive had ideas but none really stuck with me until this one #and the reason why is cuz this one was more of a scene! it wasnt just a normal drawing made to look like stained glass #it had what is supposed to be a literal window with someone standing before it looking up at it #also i find the timing of this drawing funny #cuz i just recently changed my shading style to resemble stained glass even more so than usual #cuz for years now ive gottem comments saying #my style reminds people of stained glass #and sometimes i see it sometimes i dont #cuz my shading style changes and sometimes it really did look glass like #but other times i dont think it did?? but i still got those comments??#maybe its like the way i do lineart or block out shapes?#idk but recently when i was growing tired of my previous coloring style i remembered those comments #and decided to lean into it #but now just a little while after that #here i am doing a legit stained glass illustration lol

None of Robotnik's degrees are in medicine. Why should he care about that? His interest in the human body ends with his own. That is, until one time when Stone got really hurt, and the Doctor could do nothing. He coped by... teaching himself everything there is to know about medicine! He's very normal like that. Never bothered getting a degree for that one though.

#my art #marinette dupain cheng #miraculous ladybug #miraculous fanart #style mimic #sorry for the @s btw #yall should go follow those artists if you dont already also #this was sort of inspired by a post the three artists on the top row made #i think they all got together and drew with one another #which is really cool #but i was genuinely confused because i mimic styles a lot #and ive seen others do it too so i was just like #wow they really know each others styles really well #until i thought about it and read their posts some more #style mimicking is really freaking fun and i think its really good practice #and a good way to explore other ways of doing things #like you really have to learn new techniques and get out of your comfort zone #also anna scribbles i could not find a recent pic of marinette in her main outfit #so thats the only marinette i drew in different clothes cuz i couldnt find a more recent ref of you drawing it #anna scribble marinette has privileges thats the others dont #but ye #i also threw my own style in there as a frame of reference to what me draw like #ive drawn marinette before just not in a loooong while #sabertooth walrus was the hardest for me to mimic cuz they have a broad range in their style #so its like which sabertooth do i wanna be in this pic #Buggachat has such a distinct style thats very clean and consistent which is amazing so they were easy #being easy or hard arent bad things either it also has to do with like styles meeting up with one another #buggachats and mine arent too too different in some shapes and aspects #so yeah itd be easier plus they drew marinette like 3 sec ago so i have more recent of a ref #as opposed to sabertooth who i have a recent ref of ladybug but not marinette so we got two diff styles in one

It took me an embarrasinngly long time to realize Nightwing's mask is in the shape of his symbol (like from the Nightwing signal in vol.2 or his wingdings):

But also that the other domino-wearing Robins have them:

Which is such a sweet detail???? I know that the shapes are different a lot of the time, and since I've never seen it mentioned in the comics it's possible it's just an artistic choice without any deeper meaning, but I love the headcanon that the Robins chose to pay homage to Dick's other hero identity
